Diploma students will tomorrow in Kitwe CBU demonstrate, demanding to be put on government bursary.
According to a statement posted on area councillor for riverside ward Kangombe Christopher Facebook page, said, they will protest demanding the inclusion of diploma students on government bursary.
Mr. Kangombe further stated that its unfair and unjust for diploma students to be omitted from benefiting from government sponsorship.

"just knocked off & proceeding with planning for tomorows' peoples protest to demand for diploma students in zambia to be included on govt bursary!idea is to raise awareness on this great injustice of leaving out dip students on bursary!! its either 2012 budget includes allocation for dip students or govt prepares a supplementary 2011 budget to cover this cost!! protest starts from riverside at 9:00hrs into town" stated his facebook page.
The last time diploma students where on government bursary was in the late 90s' when then minister of education brigadier General Godfrey Miyanda abolished sponsorship to diploma students.d

  1. Way to go councillor kangombe ! REVOLUTION in progress.....

  2. Why the protests? Hone students, CBU students and Lusaka trades students were all over ZNBC 7pm news telling the world how very happy they are with the rulers and that they are voting for them. How is it that the CBU students' diploma counterparts are crying murder? Wasn't it a collective decision to praise the rulers?

  3. The government should do something ! MIYANDA zwa....You caused all this !

  4. UMUNTU ni BC Pa ZIT, Hone!
