Zambia Ready For Female President
Zambia National Women’s Lobby National Coordinator Beauty Phiri says Zambia is set for a woman president.
Mrs. Phiri says the political environment in Zambia is ready for a woman to contest as a president in the forthcoming elections.
She has also called on women in the country to come out and support fellow women and not always align themselves to a commonly used phrase of Pull Her Down.
The National Women Lobby Group National Coordinator has also urged women to seek higher positions in political parties if their chances of heading Zambia as presidents are to be increased.
Mrs. Phiri was speaking to MUVI TV news in Lusaka today.
