Official: Ndola Stadium to Host Zambia Versus Libya Clash
Works and Supply Minister Gabriel Namulambe has said the Ndola Stadium which is being constructed by the Chinese contractors will stage the final Group C Gabon/Equatorial Guinea 2012 African Cup of Nations qualifier between Zambia and Libya.
And Namulambe has also revealed that works at the new Lusaka Stadium which will be built adjacent to the 47 year old dilapidated Independence Stadium will take 26 months and it cost around $94 million. Works at the Ndola Stadium is set to be completed in the next 45 days or so and Zambia will face Libya on October.
It will be for the first time ever in the history the Chipolopolo Boys will be playing at an ultra modern Stadium on home soil after using Konkola Stadium and Nchanga Stadium in the last 5 years.
