MMD Advises PF Not To Be Cheated Into Thinking It Has Gained Popularity

The ruling Movement for Multi- party Democracy MMD in Kitwe has advised the opposition Patriotic Front not to cheat themselves that they are gaining popularity in the countrys nine provinces.
District chairperson George Lungu told Flava Fm News that the PF will be shocked at the MMDs popularity come 2011 elections.
He says unlike the PF which focuses on faking crowds, the MMD has remained committed to developing the country as evidenced by the number of schools and hospitals built within a space of two years.
Mr. Lungu also advises Zambians to be cautious of those calling for pre-mature change of regime saying President Rupiah Banda has demonstrated true leadership through tireless efforts to develop the nation.
He was reacting to PF claims that it has taken over Eastern province.
Meanwhile Mr. Lungu has accused opposition Members of Parliament and councilors in Kitwe of failing the Zambian people.
He said except for a few, most MPs and councilors have failed to use Constituency Development Funds to upgrade their respective constituencies that have since remained underdeveloped.
